Use this form to request a refund of overpaid Council Tax if your account is in credit.

We refund payments by the original method of payment.

Please don't use this form if:

• your account isn't in credit but you've overpaid an instalment or paid it twice - use our Reclaim overpaid instalment form instead
• the Council Tax account is in the name of a company or organisation - use our Request a refund if you're a company or organisation form instead
• the Council Tax payer has died - use our Request a refund for someone who has died form instead
